Excess Scalp Sweating & Oiliness
For a scalp that sweats more than normal, even at rest — leaving hair feeling damp, weighed down, or greasy.
Understanding Your Scalp Condition
Mechanism: Hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating beyond what's needed to regulate body temperature — on the scalp, this means overactive sweat glands even without heat or exertion.
Why it persists: Hormonal or neurological imbalances, stress, and anxiety can keep sweat glands overactive, and without targeted care the cycle of dampness, buildup, and discomfort continues.
What improves when treated: Regular exfoliation combined with sebum-regulating, soothing actives helps calm overactive glands and keep the scalp feeling fresher for longer.
Note: This page describes a supportive, cosmetic care routine, not a medical treatment. Persistent or severe hyperhidrosis is best assessed by a healthcare professional.

FAQs
Can hyperhidrosis affect my hair health?
Yes — constant dampness and buildup can leave hair looking flat, weighed down, and can contribute to scalp irritation over time. This routine helps manage both the sweat and its effects on hair.
Is this the same as the Oily, Flaky & Irritated Scalp routine?
They overlap but aren't identical — this routine focuses specifically on excess sweat production, while the other addresses flaking and inflammation. Some people experience both together.
Can I use this with coloured hair?
Yes. All DSD de Luxe formulations are safe for colour-treated hair. Apply the peeling to the scalp only, avoiding freshly coloured lengths for 48 hours.
Is this safe in pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Most DSD formulas are cosmetic-grade and safe, but we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before beginning active treatments during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
